We were pleased to meet with United Methodist Church Bishop David Wilson. He is the first Native American Bishop in United Methodist history. Bishop Wilson oversees the states of Nebraska and Kansas. Wilson is a member of the Choctaw Nation.
Bishop Wilson is in the state as part of his outreach to Native communities. He also expressed interest in general to learn about Native issues in the state, and enjoyed a good conversation with Director gaiashkibos about those issues.
