On May 22nd Executive Director Judi gaiashkibos testified before the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands in support of H.R. 2490, brought by Nebraska Congressman Jeff Fortenberry. This bill would amend the National Trails System Act to direct the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a study on the feasibility of designating the Chief Standing Bear National Historic Trail.
