Photo Courtesy of UNLUniversity of Nebraska – Lincoln professor Chris Cornelius received a five-year NSF grant to create programing that helps mentor Native students in science, technology, engineering, and math fields.

Cornelius is chemical engineer from Virginia Polytechnic University and a member of the Oneida Tribe. He is one of four Native academics to participate in this new project called Lighting the Pathway.
